Yeah, I would assume the Renix system isn't as crisp on injector control and the later models.

It's pretty souped for the ole Renix then. Upgraded valve cover, new ac system, diffs, rebuilt trans with 6k, good rich Ko's with 6k. Fresh 4.5in lift. The works. Likely just the injectors, cause she rips and grips gentlemen. The last guy didn't know what he actually had to be honest.

Good day from Finland.
I'm also struggling with a hard start issue, haven't gotten it solved in over two years. You know everyone having hard starts always have the same problems: either starting easily when cold and then hard when hot, or the other way.
Well, mine does not depend on engine or ambient temps. If the "machine" sits for approx 2 days or more, starts right up on the first or second turn. If it sits for 5 minutes, fires right up. (for example quickly just getting smokes from the store or filling the tank up)
But if I have the audacity to leave her alone, not running, for anywhere between 10 minutes to like 12hours, I need to crank her for AT LEAST 10 seconds. Poor mans prime doesn't help, propably isn't heat soak because I this happens also on cold weather and cold engine, just seems to be a time related thing.
And won't help if I split the cranking into multiple shorter periods. Hell, I can be cranking 10x1s or 3x3s, doesn't matter. Always a total of at least 10 seconds.
All sensors have been either tested to be fine, or replaced.
I guess I could say I'm stuck with this.
Oh, and it is a 89 renix. I don't know if it shows properly in my profile, very new here.
