Ya I don't think I will wash the engine. Just do some scrubbing and plan on replacing the valve cover gasket so will clean that up when im replacing it. I don't mind the engine being kind of dirty its the spots its leaving on my driveway I don't like.

Bottom line is repair your wiring before you move on to whatever your next move is. And yes keep it

I'm sure the water has been added already at this point. Unless the PCM has a crack in it or something I wouldn't worry about it. It's DC voltage so its not like water is going to short across bare wires.

It's your choice. But ask yourself this: do you feel lucky? Cuz with all the issues you still have after spending 3k plus another couple hundred in all those parts you still have a poor running XJ with suspension noise and a disabled airbag. Damn..... I probably wouldn't tempt fate by washing the engine looking for oil leaks. If I were you I'd get that airbag fixed first. Then get your suspension in order. Then attack the engine cut off issue. The oil leaks should be last unless you're pouring out significant amounts.

"The air bag issue I did not notice when purchasing it. I could have been excited about possibly getting my first jeep buy also the steering wheel only has a small 2 inch crack that you can't hardly see until you push on it."
If it hit something hard enough to break the steering wheel there are probably some real issues with your ride. You don't want to think about wheeling this thing until it is reliable, tow gets real expensive when they have to drag it out of the woods.
