Jeep is DEAD IN THE WATER! RPM drops to 0, shuts off.
Jeep XJ 1999 4.0L 4 Door
RPM bouces, Temperature guadge intermittent.
Press on the gass too hard and remove my foot completely and the rpm drops to almost 0 if not dies in the water... if she doesnt die rpm goes under 100 then goes back to idle rpm.. if she pooches, it hits 0, im basically in auxiliary at that point. I lose power stearing obviously and have to attempt to park and attemp to start it again
Just changed fuel pump, battery, crankspos sensor and ground cable from motor to firewall... about 2 years ago.
Any help would be great, if need be, ill make a 2nd tiktok for examples.. picture, video stuff..

Hahhha... never in the 9 years ive had her and shes at something like 400k from 100k when I got her..
I will try this this week, and post a new update next weekend. Thank you.

Not sure exactly what fixed my issue but I replaced
Ignition coil
Starter motor
Distributor
Spark Plugs
Battery
Alternator
Fuses along Ignition/fuel injection line
and cleaned out an extreamly dirty throttle body and it works great... my only issue now is that driving over 3,000-4,000 RPM blows my 20 amp fuse for the start and run circuit 😢 😢 😢
