Jeep is getting hot!! NEED HELP ASAP
My jeep keeps getting hot. i pulled the thermostat out so there isnt one in it, has a new water pump, i got a new temp sensor from the JY and I also got a complete coolant system flush as well as a new fan clutch. I cant figure out why its getting hot. Its in the 80's here the past couple days. i can drive about 20-25 mins before it starts getting hot. the gauge gets up to 210 and stays there awhile and then it starts moving up and gets within a neddle width from the 3/4 mark and thats where i shut it down. what is goin on? my elec. fan is working so its not that. im stumped

burp the system clean the rad a posted ^^^, put the thermostat back in, its what allows the water to stop in the rad to be cooled down, get some water wetter from autozone and but that in, get the head checked to see if you have a blown head gasket, if the head is good then check the radiator, or just replace cause you can get them from ebay for cheap!

To burp the system, fill the radiatior slowly till it no longer burps or bubbles wait a minute or two recheck the radiator level then start vehicle and turn the heat all the way to hot let idle with the cap off till the tstat opens then refill as the level goes down until full. look for water in your oil itll look like a chocalate milkshake or white smoke out the tailpipe.

You can also squeeze the radiator hoses to help remove the air. Be careful when doing this with hot antifreeze, sometimes it will splash out. Also, sometimes it takes a few tries of squeezing the air and taking it for a spin, to get all the air out.

It does run a little bit worse. Less backpressure isn't always a good thing. It's been proven that having a bit of backpressure will produce more power than not.

Don't throw it away (The Cat) you might need it in the future, If you don't think it will run any better or worse why take it off? If you want a performance cat you can get one from many sources (I like the one MagnaFlow offers).
