Did you do anything to the crossmember at all? TC drop?

Have you checked your TC linkage yet? Is it working properly?

My "Part Time " light comes on when it is in 4 wheel drive (98 xj) I thought it was supposed to do that cause mine has since new. Have you tried it in the dirt to see if it was working or not?

im pretty sure the dash light comes on from a sensor in the t-case.

do you have low range? (even just 2wd low)

if so then im willing to bet something is faulty in your front vacuum disconnect system. (or someone stole your front driveshaft)

X2, if you have a vac disco d30 I would be willing to bet that you have a faulty vacuum. It is a very common problem.

i don't know if this is a good trick or not, but mine use to work if i put the tranny in neutral, then rev up the engine a bit and it would slip into 4wd easily, i assumed the vacuum just got a bit stronger with higher revs.
