you can get it from the bottom with about 3 ft of extensions and a swivel its a pain but its way easier than trying to get it from the top

So, Ive replaced the CPS and the ignition coil and still no spark. Any ideas where to next. With it pulling a code 054 it seems that the only things it could be are either, camshaft sensor, HEM plate, computer module or ignition switch. Can auto part stores test all these? I know the can test the computer module but what about the sensors? Is there a way I can test them myself?

you say you have a code 54 it state no signal at sync module that is in the dist the black module onder the rotor the wires for it are sticking out of the dist this been done yet

You're right guys.......code 54 is CAM sensor related.
Test your cam sensor; they can be tested with a manual and a meter.
It is located in the distributor on a 1994 XJ.
