Thanks guys for all your help. Without cherokeeforum I'd probably be lost. So seems as though the consensus is a bad cam sensor. I will replace that pretty soon here and let you guys now how it went.

I had similar trouble:

Turned out to be a bad stator and bad ignition conrtol module.
worth taking a look at as well

Is the camshaft sensor the same as the pickup coil? There is a black plate with a hole in the middle that sits down in my distributor and has a 3 bullet sensor coming out of it but thats the only thing I can think of that would be the camshaft sensor b/c no part stores around here sell a camshaft sensor.

Replaced the camshaft position sensor and still no start up...no spark. Jeep is still pulling the code for that sensor too so I don't know why since ive replaced it? I'll go clean the connections and report back. In the meantime anyone know what else it could be? Ignition switch? Computer module? I'm at a loss again...

Go in your Relay/Fuse Box under the hood and switch your Starter Relay and your ASD Relay. Then report back with what happened. If the Starter Relay is different try the A/C Compressor Relay.
