jeep wont MOVE!
Hey, I have an interesting situation on my hands... I just started my XJ early in the morning and as I let out the clutch the jeep died I started it again and it died... again..... I did this 4 times then tried to put it into gear.... it doesn't even go INTO gear! soooo, what do ya'll think it might be????? I just put gear oil into the transmission yesterday..... added a quart of oil aaaaand.... that was IT!!!

how cold is it? what gear oil did you use? and how did you fill it? also when was the last time you had it moving thru the gears

ummm.... Its pretty dang cold.... below freezing for sure! I used valvoline 80w 90... I used one of those suction things that has two open ends with one going into the bottle and the other into the hole in the side of the tranny... I drove it right after I put it in and it was just fine. Then it sat over night and would not go into gear.... but NOW the clutch feels really loose like it is shot or something... or maybe the pressure plate and the clutch are frozen together some how.... all I know is that I dont have any transportation right now which BLOWS!!!
