MUD!! I hate MUD and if anyone could see my XJ in my garage with the dash tore out and the JB removed along with the TCM. You would stay out of the deep stuff. No, it wasn't I that buried it in the deep stuff but, one of the PO's that happened to stop by my house one day. He told me that he had it buried in a mud hole at one time.
Well, I am paying the price for that now! The JB was caked with mud and had turned green. The TCM was also caked with mud and I had to sit there and wonder how it has ran as long as it had. Up to the "no start" issue, it has ran like a champ. Now it's down and out!! One new PCM, TCM and CPS later, she still doesn't fire up. Now it's time for a new JB and hope that works..
Good luck and I hope yours dries out and fires right up! Just beware that issues may arrise later on down the road!

I'm with you! I officially hate mud it's the root of all evil for jeeps that have more electrical components than ET's spaceship. Thankfully water did not reach my ECU or my sensors at the throttle. But so many other things to look into thank goodness it's not my DD or I'd be screwed.
