Jeep won't start, new owner
I have a '96 Laredo with the 4.0. Last year I was driving and it just shut off and hasn't run since. My dad put a code scanner on it and said it threw a code. (don't know the code number but he said it was cps related) so I replaced the cps a few days ago along with the cap, rotor, and coil. Tried to start and still no spark or fuel. It just spins over and that's it. The crank sensor is hardwired(the plug got corroded and went bad) and still ran with it like that. I've checked the fuses in the fuse box in the engine bay but not in the cab. The gauges work. I'm starting to think cam sensor or timing chain? But those don't seem likely. Anyone experience this? I'd like to get it fixed soon. Thanks a lot guys
