I just received a transmission from quadratec and it had a little hole on the bottom of piece that holds the output shaft it looks like it needs a plug or something...what do you think it is?

Did you ask Q-Tech? Get an email address from customer service so they can fwd these pics to the rebuilder directly.
If it's a set screw or something they may have forgotten some solicone etc.. they might just have you clean and cover over it. But i'd contact them and ask.. get it on file for a future warranty issue as well. Save the emails..

Once the t-case is installed the leak will stop. That hole is there to let you know the transmission output shaft seal is leaking.
