good...99, white, ax-15, hp30, chryco8.25, 4.0
bad....manual locks windows(no big deal though), saggy leafs(ill get new ones with the lift i will put on)
i am contemplating a 3" lift! i dont know whether to do a rough country series 2, rustys 3inch, iron rock off road 3", or build my own with miscellaneous parts.
what do yall think???
I AM NOT DOING AN AAL!!
i am thinking the iron rock off road kit but swap the front rough country coils with better shocks like the Doetsch Tech 8000s and then order some rustys coils? i want good ride and good off road ability! tell me what you guys think!!

Thats awesome! As for lifts you get what you pay for. I have RC and is great but some people hate them... I've wheeled the **** out of it and never failed. Go with the best you can afford. And i say go bigger cuz you will regret it later. At least im yet to be content with how big my jeep is.

I just bought a 2000 Limited, and I love every minute behind the wheel. Road trips can be spendy, but highway mileage get up to 25-28 if I keep my speed in the low 60's.
I'm also looking for a lift kit, but don't really need more than maybe two inches. I'd like to get 31's in the future (more for the harsh winters than for offroading), but my main issue is how the suspension handles on road. Some guys get some ultimate off-road lift and haven't been happy with the resulting road ride, so be careful.

i have a $500 budget on the lift! not including tires...i would like to go 4.5 but dont want to spend another 200 on an sye. so i want to stick with 3". is that a good idea?
you guys tell me what you think i should do with that criteria!

manual windows and locks may not be a bad thing. from what i hear they have a lot less problems than the electric ones. but yeah its kind of annoying to lean over and roll down that passenger side window.

I'm going to be upgrading to a 6.5 LA soon and will need to part paths with my RC 3 if you are interested. Shocks and coils are good - AaL's a little saggy - nothing that a shackle cant tackle. Yours for $200 + ship when I change over - 3 weeks or so. Let me know.

Ive got a cheapo rough country 3" with front coils and a rear add a leaf. Others dont prefer the add a leaf and neither do i but for the price its nice. Only paid around 300 for the lift. It came with shocks but they are horrible they went within 1000 miles. Try to find just coils and add a leaf and it will be fairly cheap then get some better shocks seperatly. Im currently running sky jacker 7000's and havent had a problem yet. With the 3" you can put 31's on with trimming to the plastics ( atleast i did).I have around 12,000 miles on the lift without any noticable sag. Good luck
