Young lady............PLEEEEAAAASSSSSEEEE don't refer to your XJ as a car it is a lean mean offroading machine. We 40 sumthing manly-man males with our lifts, tires, and gears and winches and things (I NEED a winch!!!)
Cringe when our monster creations are referred to as a car!!!!

this is before i detailed it up and its taken with my crappy camera phone....spent 5 hours cleaning it. it looks MINT im serious. i detail cars and this cars paint is just incredible. i guess it was a company car and was garaged its whole life. the lift is a rubicon express and only was put on 5 thousand miles ago so 315,000 of the miles are just highway lol
i couldnt take pics of it mudded up lastnight, i left work early with a bad cold and slept all afternoon. ill try to post them ASAP

thank you, i think so too it has a brand new xplode deck, all brand new xplode speakers, IPod integration, brand new fog lights i havent installed yet (to replace the broken ones) and the rubison express kit has only been on for about 5 thousand miles and was never really taken off road because the kid who sold it to me was in a bad offroad accident in a friends jeep like 2 weeks after he got it so he never took it out four wheelin. lol the lift feels stiff and not even settled in yet. haha god, i got lucky with this...what a steal

I have removed the the front drive shaft the popping is gone and yes the shaft went in easy enough but I used regular gear oil (75-90) was wondering if this put too much strain on the t-case. have changed the oil to synthetic 75-140 and all the fluids are at level was going to replace drive shaft to see what happens my question is would the wrong oil in diff cause the t-case to pop

now some words of advice don't end up like the previous owner
take it slow on and of the road get a good feel for how it responds to different conditions
if you do any 4x4 stuff go with experienced drivers

actually i got it off craigslist. it seemed sooo sketchy at first because he had it for sale for a grand. i asked for pics and more info and he was like "i dont have pics on this computer blah blah blah ill try to get you some" (he seemed like he was giving me the run aruond and was very indirect and couldnt really answer any of my questions). Then he called me because i emailed him from my work email and my number is on there and told me if i wanted to car it was mine for 500 and he could get me pics asap. I was like ummm why would you drop the price if i inquired about it when it was a grand...very weird. i got the pics and liked what i saw so i brought a guy friend with me to meet him. ( i was VERY sketched out by the whole situation). turns out it was just some 17 yr old kid who was getting rid of it because his dad was buying him a new car. the reason he was so uninformed is because i was speaking to his g.f. in the emails. i couldnt believe what was happening it was way too good to be true. i paid the kid and my friend and i just laughed we couldnt believe the deal we just got and how nervous i was to meet the seller. the whole situation was just too funny and unbelievable. long story short...some things are NOT to good to be true lol
