Default Vibes with Lift

I have a 4.5 RE Kit on my XJ and it was making super vibe on takeoff and under acceleration was the worst,I did a 1 1/4" Self built drop with a couple of 12" sections of 1 1/4" X 1.20 wall mild steel tube.I supported everything with a floor jack and did 1 side at a time.I simply drilled holes in the correct places ,I replaced the stud with a longer grade 8 one from a local "Nut-N-Bolt" Warehouse here in vegas and put grade 8 bolts in the other side. Vibration is GONE,Total cost about 16.00. The 1st T-Case drop kit I bought with my last XJ with a 3.5" RE lift was 40.00,it was 3/4" and was 2 bolts some washers,4 3/8" X 3/4" "pipe spacers" and 2 nuts, all just crap stuff, not even grade 5 hardware,I have Nitro KYB's wich added another full inch of ride height to the kit so with the drop all is good,I am installing GoFerit Offroads Tie Rod Flip adapter (20.00)so I can put my tie rod from the top down on the drivers side along with the 1 Ton Complete steering from tellico offroad that has the HD Tie ROd and Drag link with all 1 ton ends for 160.00 ,shold be arriving UPS tomorrow,I took the day off to play with my new stuff,I will post results.Vegas

hey vegas, ya man sounds like you fixed your problem and thats pretty handy but watch out for the stress on your motor mounts and the fact that by dropping your TC your actually changing your tranny and engine angles slighty but for the vibes and some other options check on the "grinding/rubbing noise when letting off the accelerator" thread. good luck with the rest and keep us posted!
