Knocking sound when wheel all the way turned
When my wheel is all the way turned left or right there is a knocking sound like something is rattling trying to break loose but this is ONLY when it is COMPLETLY turned either left or right. For example it doesnt sound when im doing a u-turn and im like 95% percent wheel turned, only occurs when fully turned.

I would just suggest never to turn it 100%, it was always a general rule I followed on any lifted vehicle the family had. Not worth changing anything if nothing is wrong or going bad when driving normal. I even manage to parallel park without cranking it all the way.

You could always turn the wheel 100% while parked, turn off the Jeep, and then see if the tires are hitting anything underneath. Process of elimination, anyway...

OP I know exactly what you are talking about... mine does it too. I believe it is my steering box since it is leaking like a sieve and the power steering pump is only a few years old.
