Known issues with 91 Cherokee Laredo?
Potential new Cherokee owner here!
I have the opportunity to purchase a 1991 Cherokee Laredo at a great price in excellent condition (70k miles) for a daily driver. Other than my current Jeep Wrangler TJ, I don't have any experience with older Jeeps.
Are there any known issues that I should be aware of? (Obviously I'll look for frame rust) but since the engine is a the 4.0l, I'm assuming the engine would be as reliable as my Wrangler TJ (?).
Thanks for any advice or insight anyone has!

It likely will be just as reliable as your TJ. As for known issues, there isn't too much apart from parts wearing out because the car is old. For example shocks, gaskets, leaf springs, etc. If your TJ is of similar age, the issues should be similar. If you do a test drive, and the car seems good, I would say to buy it.
Also, as you might already know, older jeeps are way easier to work on than modern cars. With some help from this forum, you should be able to fix everything yourself.

The biggest issue you'll have is that it's 30 years old. If you've got a TJ and are used to working on that, you'll be fine.
