as the control arm angle gets greater when drooped it makes that tire have a harder time climbing the obstacle ahead. it can come in handy sometimes, but other times i would rather lift a tire.

Like and undercut or vertical face... gottcha... guess I never experienced an "issue", but I do understand and agree with what you are saying... makes perfect sense as the drooped side needs to extend forward to compress again.
