Default leaf spring issues

Ok so i put most of my lift on this weekend and when i got to the leaf springs we found that the main bolts didn't match the brackets. they are about 4 inches behind were they should be. I was wondering if we could still pull it back to mtch them up or if that would be too much for the drive shaft? Or is drilling a new hole for the main bolt the best solution?

hunting man hes probly referring to the shackle. loosen the top bolts and shackle will move. swing it to the leaf spring.

I wonder if the leaves are on backwards that would put the center pin about 6" back. I'm getting ready to do that for a stretch.

no i am talking about the little bolt in the middle of all the leaf springs i don't think they are backward becaise the shackles for the back only fit on one side of the leaves.

If your talking about the centering pin- install it, tighten it, and then cut off the excess.

I have seen people drill a new hole in the spring perch on the axle but you will still be a bit farther back than before.
