If you're like me, and your Jeep is a DD and you're not interested in lifting it consider some air adjustable shocks. I use mine to tow, so it was a good idea for me anyway. My 80k 2000 sagged probably an inch in the rear over stock, and the air shocks I have are rated at 25 to 200 psi. 40 psi puts it right up to stock height, and I don't notice any stiffness over the stock shocks at all. I was due shocks and the air adjustable mad sense for towing anyway. Although, the shocks are a bit of a job, they're less expensive ($70 for the pair at AZ) compared to rear springs and a much easier job.

nope actually, I put a lift on it and DIDN'T run into that problem although I was expecting it, they shouldn't rust either because they were quite generously coated in PB Blaster before being re-installed. most likely I'll take them out and put some anti-seize on them at some point
