Default leaking tranny fluid

Hello- So im gona tackle my leaking tranny coolant line soon... it looks to be leaking at the "quick connects" up front... I was planning on cutting both connects with a dremel and then peeling a piece back to let the hard line free... but i was thinking that it may catch on fire if atf is flammable... my reading on here says that atf is flammable, so im looking for any thoughts on this... thanks guys!!

Has everyone else replaced the entire line, or just the soft hose part where the "quick connects" are???

Not saying this is the best solution but I did this exact thing two weeks ago. Just wiped all the excess off before I started. Had a bitc* of a time getting the hose over the ridge on the metal line though. Ended up putting a flare on the ends of the metal line and double clamping behind it. No leaks since.

Thanks for the reply!! Im glad some one else has recently done this and survived... Idealy, i would want to get the new tubing over the flanges on the ends and clamp outside the flanges?? Im sure itll make more sense once i have it apart... Thanks for the help!!

Yes, clamp outside the flanges.

If someone has a link to the $8 part that would be helpful. Cheapest I could find was about $25 and not stocked locally.
