My bfg mt's did this too... turns out they just didn't like highway driving on Detroits crappie roads.

35psi? Am I only one who caught that haha. I drive 25psi around town. I know every tire is different but 35, and even 30 is probably too high for a tire like the Duratrac. I bet air pressure is causing the uneven tire wear, and I also recommend rotating them every 3k.

If not then something worn up front is causing the wear.

Most searches I've seen people recommend at least 30psi for 31s. And the cupping is only on the fronts so I don't think the psi was affecting them

It's really not just "it's a 31 so it gets this much", usually that gets you close, but every tire is different and every vehicle as well. Vehicle weights differ, and a 31 mud terrain is most def going to require different pressure than say a 31 all terrain. The Duratrac is a cross, so it may take so fiddling to find the right pressure for your jeep.

I run the generic 235 75 15 Goodyear Wrangler Radials with the thin sidewalls and I run 35psi front and 33psi rear for best wear. With something wider and with a heavier sidewall I would definitely think you would use less. The more front heavy the vehicle, like with a full sized pickup, you can run even more difference front and back. For me it helps both treadwear and handling on road.
