Lift gate (Push Button Style) Lock Cylinder

Lift gate (Push Button Style) Lock Cylinder
I'm having a hell of a hard time finding info on the push button style lift gates. I purchased new lock cylinders (Standard Motor Products DL-22 Door Lock Set) and before I start digging apart the door, I was trying to find if that cylinder will just slide into it or if they need a special one.
EDIT: It's a 96 lift gate.
