well done Please read what you type before you send it so we can understand the question better. There is no lift out there that is a "smooth" ride. Cherokees suck for ride when stock so putting a lift on them makes it worse in most circumstances.

i beg to differ. before my lift my cherokee rode like a caddy. then i put the BB on it and it got a little stiff.

You just answered the question, they dont ride better with a lift, and they never will. Having four of them in the family that we all drive I should know. The newer ones like 97-2001 ride much better then the older ones, but the XJ wasn't designed for a smooth ride but more of a utility rig and off road capable out of the box. I have rode/drove in a Rubicon short arm, Tuff Country SA, Terraflex SA, Rancho SA, and Iron Rock Long Arm and the LA is by far the better ride. Too many variables like spring rates, shocks etc have a hand in ride quality as well.

yeah i got a 3.5 re sa and its pretty rough, you learn to get a good beer hand since the lack of cup holders lol. ive never drove a la but ive heard its alot smoother
