LIQUID?!?! in spark plug holes?
i went swampin and hit the water to fast and then the engine died on me. no clicking. i removed sparks and some of them were wet and then i took light and looked into hole that i removed them and i see a liquid??! im not sure if this is suppose to be here? if not what do i need to do to get it out?

Sounds like you have sucked in some water into the engine... I am sure someone else will chime in on what you need to do. I have never done it myself but I would start with pulling all the spark plugs, with all the plugs out turn the engine over (with the starter as you would normally try to start the vehicle). Do this several times to make sure all the water that is inside your cylinders is shot out through the spark plug holes. Make sure to change your oil and check all other fluids as it is possible to have water in there as well...

so now that i have the spark plugs removed i should try and crank it up? sorry i know an ok amount of vehicles but i have never worked on an engine...yet. lol
and i dont want to make it worse and get more water in the engine.

i would wait for some other replies to see what others say to see if anyone else has any other ideas, but something you might do to get it out is first vaccume out the spark plug area so no debris fall in, maybe wipe it up a little, take all your spark plugs out, and turn the engine over a few times to get the fluid (water) out, dry off your spark plugs, and put them back in and see if it starts. also check in your distrubuter cap while your at it and make sure its all bone dry, i had problems with that with a ramcharger.....

well that sucks man i feel your pain i did that once with a chevy and ****ed up my motor bad, make sure you get the water out even run a bottle of plain old rubbing alcohol into the cyllinders to get all the moister out before new spark plugs, change the oil and hope to god you didnt get much water in there in there, just make sure everything is dry as you can humanly get it, you also might have ruined the ignition coil or coil paks depending on the year thats where i would go after the spark plugs. if you have a distrubuter take it off make sure its not wet inside. you see water got into your air intake, and into your engine cylinders,and since water CANNOT be compressed you probably blew the gasket or a piston or 2. That is if you didn't turn off the engine.
that, and other engine components.
Thats why engines and floods don't mix
this condition is known as "Hydrostatic Lock" or "Water Lock"

Don't panic, as long as it happened at low RPM it shouldnt have damaged the engine. Pull the plugs and turn it over. Get all the water out, then see how she runs... Hopefully it is all still good.

Yea if your engine cut out soon as it hit water or very close to it you run a good chance of just having to do a "full" tune up.

you cannot and will not 100% drain water from an engine if it water locked!
water may have gone in the engine oil. If you run the engine it will then mix with the oil and the water, and the lubrication will go into the engine cylinders, you will proceed to destroy all you bearings and what not...

Engine: 4.0 H.O. K&N, Borla headers, custom down pipe, magnaflow hi-flo cat, flowmaster to turn down tip
to get all the water out of your oil you are gonna have to drop the oil pan, and drain it that way. best way to get all the water out is pull you intake and head off, air dry the intake manifold and vacume all the water out of the engine block on top of the cylinders. then put about a half teaspoon of oil on the top of your pistons before you install the head again, this will allow lube just incase watter passed your cylinders. it will burn off shortly after you start the engine, then put it all back together and use 5w-30 oil. you should be fine as long as you have no bearing damage.

We always pulled the plugs and shot the water out with compressed air. We had an air nozzle for our compressor that we took the plastic end off of so it would fit down the plug holes nice and easy. Then just hit the trigger a few times and it will blow the water out. Then we put a little oil in the cylinders, did an oil change, and it was good to go. We did this on my brothers Chevy and Ford mud truck engines all the time. REPEATEDLY getting water in the engine is NOT good, but if this was the first time, you shouldn't have any problems, just make sure your intake and air piping is good and dry before you fire it up. And it will smoke when you start it because of the oil in the cylinders...
