Does anyone know a part number or somewhere that sells a replacement bulb socket? The bulbs aren’t a problem but the little black socket itself. I ordered one from rock auto but what I ordered was for the instrument panel not the clock.

I'm not sure whether or not there's a "bulb" for the clock or not. I thought it was all digital with an LED display. I know these clocks sometimes fail in XJ's, which is why they deleted them in the early-to-mid-90's models, and just went with a clock in the radio.

Some had replacement bulbs. Same as used in the climate control.

bulbs are readily available but the socket itself im not sure. Is there a specific size or part #? I know the sockets for instrument panel are available but the one for the clock is much smaller

Well, it takes a #74 bulb. Moparpartsgiant shows the PN for the socket. Not sure how much that will help.
