Locker in the front?

Had lockers front/rear in a CJ5, wasn't real impressed on the trail. Great in the mud though... Thought it might be because of the short wheel base. Some of the trails we play in you gotta have 4 peel engaged. Was planning on an air-locker, but someone pointed me towards the Aussie lockers said they ran it in the front, asking for opinions...
