i just ordered an ARB air locker. But if i was running a 33 or smaller i would be running a detroit truetrac just because of the price difference

I've been running mine with a Lock Rite for going on 5 years now and I still run stock axle shafts I have only broke one shaft and it is due to me forgetting to change a bad u-joint.

yeah, i'd say just get a lockrite. they're cheap and work great for the price.
i am running one with stock shafts. yeah, i've broken a couple u-joints where one took out the stub shaft. but that's only because i kept trying to get off the rocks. and i'm running the disconnect shafts with a posi lok cable and 36's.
if your just running 33's, just keep an eye on the u-joints, and you should be fine.

I've got a lock right - even though I haven't installed it yet... but save your money buy a lock right or aussie and save an ARB or Detroit for a D44 or D60 build.

I've got 2 4wheeling trips on my front D30 Aussie and it has performed flawlessly!!! I love it and would recommend it to anybody. At $239 it's hard to beat the price.
