you need to provide more info, like what are your plans for use,the 35 is fine unless you plan on some serious offroading.
I have lockers in my truck and they are great,it goes in 2 wheel drive where it use to need 4wheel with open diffs,my jeep has a lsd and it is fine with me as it will also have a winch,i do not use it for serious offroading just moderate use for hunting and fishing.
What you put in your jeep depends on your needs and what you plan on using it for.

well i dont do serious off-roading but i do like to go, but i would say that its not hard core off-roading yet but that may change.

Do you hear banjos?
You always hear the horror stories of the Dana "tudry 5", but I think you would be ok with 31" tires, and light to moderate wheeling. I have had them in 2 different Jeeps, and really wheeled them pretty hard without a single issue. One was a V8 ZJ with 31" tires, and the other was an XJ with 33" tires. Niether were locked, but both were beat on pretty good. I also know a guy that had a 35 in his rig, until a recent D44 swap. This guy is not a fan of throttle control. His rig was on Truxus 33s, locked, with a super 35 kit, and he beat the pee-pee out of that axle without any problems. Like I said, I think you'll be fine.

Lockers are great! I'm putting one in the rear of my daily driver now because they make such a difference. You can do stuff like the picture in the link with lockers.

The rear will be though and it will still turn but you lose like a few feet of turning radius, nothing MAJOR. After two or three weeks you won't even notice it anymore.

The rear locker is working full time all the time when you are on the accelerator, 4wd or 2wd. It'll be "pushing" the jeep forward through a turn and this increases front tire wear but more frequent tire rotation will keep your tires even. You will eventually learn to "coast" through turns instead of accelerating, since this "opens" the locker and increases turning radius and decrease tire wear.
