The D35 was used all the way through 2001. You'll find it on ABS equipped XJ's.

So you're getting stuck a lot and you think a stroker is going to remedy that? I wheeled all over Moab with open diff's for 3 yrs. I don't understand why you're getting stuck so much. Are you airing down your tires? Sway disconnected? What kind of terrain are you getting stuck in?

well no but itll sling mud alot further!! lol and i keep gettin stuck following my buddies jeep...probably going places i know i shouldnt go....ive just never lost that overconfidence of "im in a jeep!" and theres lots of real deep mud pits so...

Probably should just ride with him instead...his jeep is nicer. Heres a Poser pick after we did the rear springs....

Lockers for your axles are about $250-$300 a piece. Not too shabby.

No need to fab up a bumper for a winch. Check out Detours. I run their winch mount and it's been badass. I only spent $550 on both the winch and mount.

Ah, well if it's mud then that makes more sense. A stroker and lockers will go a long ways in the mud. Don't you guys have any rocks up there?

ya when my buddy goes with me...he has a compressor on his rig. we have to travel so far to go wheelin anywhere that i cant air my tires down if he doesnt go, cause i have no way to air em back up to get back to town. i tried it one time to see if i could make it back but i got a flat and didnt have my spare that day cuz i put my ski racks on for the season the day before and forgot to put it inside so...i dont try that anymore.

^you don't need a really nice air compressor. i know having a good one speeds things up, but even the cheap ones you can get at an auto parts store that plug into the cig-outlet are better than nothing. i have one of those $50 Slime brand ones i found at a Salvation Army for $15. does one wheel in about 3 minuets or so. it was funny, because when i got it, it didn't want to start up. so i opened the plug for it and the people donated it because the cheap fuse was blown. even better, it came with a replacement fuse in the extra pouch of the case. some people, i tell ya, lol. thing works great, and even has a really bright LED flashlight on the front of it so i can do things in the dark if need be.
