"Oh **** it's me" haha!
nah man it would be like following a beef on social media where you're not friends with one and their account is blocked so it's as if one person is arguing with a ghost, because I'm on ignore you know haha. And to think, I've been in the holiday spirit, happy and jolly since November. Because that's when the holidays start right Haha. Darnit.

To you as well brother!
To nujeepguy, you won't see this haha. But I have no idea what I may have done or said to you. But regardless, I'm sorry for the misunderstandings, wherever they may have occurred. Sounds like there have been many instances, I'm just not sure when haha
To the op sorry for the Internet fight hijack of your thread haha! You haven't posted back. Hopefully you took some advice and are doing some tests before buying a new head.

OP,
You have all the symptoms of the infamous cracked 0331 head.
Take a bright flashlight and look into your oil fill cap. The 0331 head likes to crack right between the #2 and #3 cylinder. This crack is usually visible from the oil fill cap especially after shutting the engine down after a run. See pictures.

OP
Is this Jeep new to you? If so, you should do some maintenance to make sure everything is in working shape
Cooling system of course (at least the T-stat and radiator cap). Might be able to get away with a full flush, but replace the water pump and radiator to be sure. Probably could get away for around $80-$100
Pull the valve cover off and inspect for any cracks in the head. Look hard. Replace the valve cover gasket with a felpro, and clean the crank case vents while your at it.
Probably all other fluids, but make sure the motor is in good shape first. An oil analysis from Blackstone would be a great idea.

May want to consider replacing the head as well, considering the known issues with the 0331 head. You may not like the cost now, but it very well may end up saving you in the future if/when that other head cracks and kills your bearings, and thus your motor. Just a thought.
