Looking for headliner
I purchased a headliner fromTeamcherokee.com last year and it was perfect. Now I damaged it and need replacement, but Teamcherokee don't have it anymore. I tried HeadlinerMagic.com, but the headliner they sent me was wrong color (too light).
Any suggestions?
This is my interior:

I have the same color. My headliner fell and instead of replacing it I got some 1/2" flat wood screen molding, spray painted it a near-matching color and then cut individual pieces to go across the headliner (left-right). I measured them to be just slightly too long and then bowed them upward, lodging the ends just above the plastic trim running down the sides front to rear. They actually look pretty good and keep the headliner neatly supported.

I plan on adding a personal touch and getting some fabric from the local arts and crafts store to put in. Not sure exactly what I'll go with, but I'll probably keep it redneck and go with camo or something. American Flag or state flag is another idea.

Dang that looks nice with the tan interior!!!! I thought about max4HD but I have gray interior... Maybe more of a forest camo or mountain camo....
Is that a factory roof console? That's nice too...
Not sure about the picture orientation ...

Slightly off topic, how much room is between the headliner and the roof?
I need to replace or restore mine and was thinking about adding some kind of insulation up there. Probably closed cell foam of some sort.

And probably plenty more if you don't put it over the cross bars you see in the picture above.
Trying to remember but thinking those cross bars hung down at least an 1"

Now my crazy plan is try to find a headliner in the junk yard and restore that. Then find some kind of good 1"ish thick insulating material to go up there before swapping out old one.
My local home and garden store has outdoor furniture fabric, which is what Jonathan Ward (Icon) says they use for interiors. If that seems too pricey, Jo Anna Fabrics is supposed to carry headliner specific material too.

I did not want to stick anything permanent up there that would cover the whole roof.
Those foam pieces you see are held up with the cheap Advance Auto velcro.
Probably have long since fallen down on the headliner. LOL.
When it came to the Dynamat I used since I only did partial coverage I was OK with doing that.
So how about a really bad idea?
Use this:

Of course it is only 1/2" thick. LOL.

Not that I have any experience with this but thinking you need to be aware of the temp specs of whatever spray adhesive you use.
Betting it gets real hot up there in the sun in the Summer.
3M used to list it on the product page for each product. But it looks like they don't do that anymore.
I did find this:
Because of the heat up there that is why I am betting the cheap velcro that I used for the foam has since let go. LOL.
But I figured that would happen going in. MLOL.

I used the original headliner board and just cleaned it up really good. I found that fleece comes in tons of colors and is super affordable. Fabric is expensive!
As far as the adhesive, the 3m headliner spray is awesome stuff. Like the chart says it doesn’t cover a lot of square footage but sprays thick almost like a spider web. It stays on the surface and doesn’t soak in. I was really impressed with it. The fleece sticks really well to it but that’s the only material I have experience with using the headliner adhesive. I’m not even a big fan of camo but it seemed to match and would hide anything that got on it.
No problems with heat so far.
