Default Loose stearing when going left

Ok, I am new and just bought a 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4wd 131xxx miles. I am a bit of a novice so be nice.

I was having no problems with the vehicle after purchase so I bought a 3 inch Lift Kit from Rustys, got new tires and an alignment to rustys specs of 7 castor, 0 toe. Now when I am traveling over 30 mph I can steer to the right fine, but when I try steering to the left the steering does not react. I hear popping every once in a while turning left when stopped. I lifted the front end up and have some play in the tie rod ends but it appears normal and when I move the steering wheel at rest and watching it the wheels track normal. I am just lost as to what this could be, but it feels unsafe to steer to the left going about 35+ mph.

Thanks Phil

i had a problem with mine and it was the stearing shaft. it started about the same way and after it felt loose. had to go to a junk yard and find another. now it works great.
