Default Lose of power steering and power brakes

I'm having a problem with my 2001 jeep Cherokee limited. Sometimes while I am driving my jeep shuts off and I lose all power steering and power brakes. The first time it happened the check engine light turned on and It came up with a P0340 code. I looked it up and it came up with a crankshaft or camshaft position sensor error. I am thinking about replacing both. My question is do you guys think that will solve the problem ? Is there anything else that could cause my jeep shutting off while I am driving ?

Thanks guys for your help

Quite sure it is your problem if youre gonna change the sensors use oem sensors no aftermarket sensors.
