Loss of coolant mystery!

So I’ve installed a new radiator cap and noticed some pipe leaking, that seems to be coming from the radiator, while running stationary. Haven’t noticed this before but it looks like brown-like water.
Could this be my loss of coolant?

Well, it seems you have found your leak. The question now is if it's just the lower hose or the water pump?
If it is the water pump, don't forget to clean up and apply silicone to the bolts. They go through into the water jacket on the engine.
You might get away with tightening the hose, but judging by the muddy color of your coolant, I'd go ahead and order the whole thing. Radiator, water pump, thermostat, hoses, etc. Flush everything really well, remove the block drains, get all that muddy looking coolant out of there.
You very well might be in the early stages of a head gasket failure. See how it goes fixing the leak first. If you stop losing coolant and don't have any overheating, put some time into fixing the neglected cooling system. If it doesn't get better, you might need to go down the head gasket path... which I'd recommend replacing all that stuff anyway.

With coolant that rusty, I expect your overheating is that the radiator is mostly blocked off by all the sludge from not doing coolant changes for the last 30 years.
The hose and all new coolant is cheap and easy. If you have to do the radiator and/or water pump the price starts to climb.
Keep us posted on this and we will get through to a solution sooner or later.
