low fuel pressure/bleed off on 92 4.0 xj
started running rough so I check the fuel pressure and it was at about 19 PSI really steady didn't matter the rpm rang or if I disconnected the vacuum to the FPR, then as soon as the ign is cut the fuel pressure drops completely off. so my question is should I be looking more toward the fuel pump being out or the FPR or is there a check valve in the filter or something that has fail just wondering which direction I should head at.

further inspection hooked up vacuum gauge to fuel pressure reg through stock vacuum lines and found the lines had a leak so I replaced them then tried manual adjusting vac on it and fuel pressure stayed stead at 19 ( at idle) but the FPR did hold vacuum, called the parts store and the told me it was suppose to be at 32-40 key on engine off once again instant 0. so I am assuming it's the pump those are easy swaps so I will do that after I get off work tonight, also I was watching a video and they said that these jeeps have a check valve separate from the pump spme where in line and it often fails causing the long cranks (I thought that was just normal on jeeps all 6 of mine had done that) anyone know of this location
