Low power in 2h and 4h
Hello everyone,
This is my first thread, i just signed up.
Sorry for mistakes and bad English,I Am from Europe small country.
I bought Jeep xj 97,and it is 4.0 -manual transmission.
It was in bad condition and I am working as much as I can.
It is almost impossible to buy something new for the Jeep in my country.
Right now I have problem with power, there in no any problem or any weird sound from engine, transmission, transfer case or differential.
I have problem in 2h or 4h ,for example when I am stopped in the middle of hill-it is impossible to continue driving in 2h or 4h.I have to change it in 4l and then I could drive easily no matter that is very big hill.
When I try to start from zero km/h ,I ve got 2000-3000 or even more RPM ,engine sound OK but after I am releasing clutch engine in changing sound and if I release it a little more it will turn off the vehicle (same in 2h or 4h)
Transfer case is 231 and I think diff ratio is 3.07.
4l works perfect in any conditions.
Thanks
