You want the bar and plug to be on the same side of the new switch, the one I bought from napa was on opposing sides. The break (&quot;full&quot<img src="images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Wink" smilieid="4" class="inlineimg" /> means fluid is present. There is a little bumped line on the washer reservoir that the bar on the switch should match up with. Due to the plug hitting the fender, it will not mount the other way. Cost me 45 minutes and 6$ to find out my switch was upside down and revive this thread.

Had the same problem with my 2014 GC? Saw a thread for same problem with Ram pick-ups. Turns out that certain washer fluids (RainX for one) gum up the sensor. There is a youtube on how to remove and clean with Dawn dish soap. I didn't remove the sensor, but instead put a few cap fulls of Palmolive dish soap in the bottom of the tank (waited until the tank was down to about a quarter full) then added a quart of hot tap water and then inserted a short length of hose to blow some bubbles in the bottom of the tank. Instant cure without removing any connectors or sensors. Hope it works for you.

This has been bothering me for a while. I just pulled my out, soaked it in water and dish soap and scrubbed it with a dish scrubber. It seemed to fix the problem.

Washer Fluid Light Fix
bobber. If yours is like mine, the
switch worked, the foam float was no longer floating. You can test the
switch out of the fluid container
by attaching the wires and moving
the float up and down watching the
light inside, with the ignition on.
If the swich works, simply pull off
the float and attach a fishing bobber
around the same size as the original
float. I found a foam bobber at
Walmart that worked, you could
use anything that is water tight and
floats. I was originally going to
cut off a small portion of the foam
float, drill a hole in the bottom
and screw in a small night light to
use the light as a float, but tried
the bobber first. Hope this helps, ifyou need a picture, email me at
