ive seen that jeep before and on my 93 i stuck some 17s on the and sorry but for me it doesnt look right...

why wouldnt this look good with 15 steelies???

Don't know if it was posted, but the exploder 8.8 rear ends are sprung under...I believe, lower you quite a bit. Not sure if it'd work though.

And rims...
17 inch all aluminum jeep rubicon wheels with 1.5 inch adaptors.

i think its a good idea all in all...i would stiffen the subframe tj coils an put a 350 in it..with the tj coils and the 350 you will have a good amount of drop in the front..the 350 will be perfict beacuse u can get big power out of one and the install kits are dirt cheep...just my 2cents

Personally, I'd go with 17s with 5.5 inch of backspacing. Then put on 245-45-17s or wider. Then get some wheel adaptor/spacers at 1.5 inch from 5x4.5 hub to 5x5 rubicon wheels. This will put you back at 4 inches of backspacing and give you the widest stance possible.

Tires are up to you. Street at all? Or track only?


P.s I just moved to jeeps...I'm a paved track racer

Its goin to be my dd and take it to the track every so often... until i get a good engine in

GET WIDE, GET STICKY. summer tires. dunlop direzza star specs, bridgestone RE11, hankook ecsta MX or XS.

I absolutely love the Falken Ziex model 502 zr's on my 17 inch eagle rims.

I use them at light autocrosses, sticky sticky tire, wears faster, but at 71$ a tire the price is unbeatable for it's shared road/track use. IN MY OPINION.

ok liking all the wheel ideas what other ones would you suggest

i was lookin at the startech alloy wheels but nothing smaller than 19in..

Either i find a set that blow me away and i wont stop till i get or im going with the nascar look matte black steelies.. wish they had these alloys

true to all the supra engine but then never take it off road. they do have the same displacement though im a dodge guy and would try to throw a 5.7 hemi in the bad boy to make some get up and go.

as for the boost it would be way to much the engine for sure couldnt handle it unless you beefed everything up inside of it.

not to bash your origional idea with the wheel package here, but you can go wider without having to put spacers on. there are steel wheels and alloys out there that have 3.75" backspacing and really stick them wide. the hard part when it comes to the alloys though is finding a design you like. i've seen alloys with that much backspacing, but the designs on them, meh... they just ain't that great looking.
