Lowest lift possible with 31" tires...
Hey guys, I know there are already a ton of threads about 3" lift fitting 31" tires and what not. I'm not a fan of over the top lifts and making a HCG. So I'm going with a 1.5" OME lift, and doing some trimming on my fenders and buying these flares. http://www.quadratec.com/products/72506_7010_07.htm
Has anyone seen this run? I've tried looking for it but have found nothing in a way of pics to see what it looks like. Also any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

31s and flat flares will look ridiculous. Dont know why you think 3 inches will give you a HCG but your wrong there. 3 inches and 31s or 32s.. hell even 33s is ideal for a LCG rig. Sure you can fit 31s and bigger on a 1.5 inch lift but calling 3 inches HCG is off. Skip the 400 dollar bushsmackers and buy yourself a decent 3 inch kit, and run 31s or 32s. Youll be happy.

I just think the flares make the tires look smaller than they already are..
You must not have done much searching..I found a thread right off where a guy has 31s and flatties...just not 1.5" You wont find many if any pictures because I doubt anyone has ran 1.5 31s and flatties.

Good thinking.. All I googled was xj flat flares 31s..first thread to pop up. Flatties look good with 33s+ I say go with 2+ inches 31s and trimming.

Those flares will require you to cut your fenders.... a lot...
So what are you trying to ask? 31's won't rub after your flares are installed with no lift, unless you don't compensate for back spacing and rub on your control arms.
