Hello.

I am also looking for a owners manual for my Jeep Cherokee.
But it has to be for the 1996 model. I have found one that is supposed to cover 1995-2001 but it doesnt cover the 1996 models actual dashboard layout..

If anyone have some info, please share..

Just curious... Why do u need an owner's manual?

 

just for some things not in the repair manual by Haynes...also wondering about the 4x4 modes..one says 'comfort ride' one says 'rough road' ..never saw this before..but also interested in the owners manual for little things that aren't mentioned in repair manual I have..I was hoping to find a free download link rather than a pay site but thanks for your help !

 

I am new to this forum, so I'll apologize, in advance, for my lack of knowledge.
Just purchased a 1996 Cherokee sport, 162000 miles, runs good, shifts good, no rust,,,(hard to believe I know).

Temp gauge inop, brake lights inop, turn signals inop....

Anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram?

Just a suggestion for future posts since you haven't yet had a reply. You've tacked a new post involving a specific problem onto an old thread about finding manuals.

Generally it is way better to start a new thread, particularly since your question may evolve into a technical question involving tracking down wiring faults.
