Should be stamped on the back of the insert.

I'm sure he means on the back side of the bearing itself.

This might not be something as simple as just replacing the bearing with another bearing. You have to know why this bearing became "bad" and what the condition of the crank is.

OK. Your crank is probably shot. If your crank has been turned down, say .010. that will be stamped on the back of the bearing insert. Don't mix up or turn around the rod caps. You should at least have a book. You have a snowball's chance you can dress up the journal and slap in fresh inserts and expect it to work at all...at least it's cheap! Check Rockauto.com.

Manage attachments > browse > select > upload. For me the trick was it doesn't really tell you when it's done. On the bottom left of the box something disappears. If you cancel or move the box you can see your attachment listed.
Don't hesitate to use "preview post", or "Edit", on your post after it's posted.

How many miles on it. It was fine then all the sudden started knocking? Was it full of decent oil?

Yea, I see allot of them! Not quite sure what to say. It almost looks like deposits , like the bearing rubbed off on them. Being worn down, and being out of round are the real killers. Are you familiar with Plastigauge?
