Mine does this exact thing. I bought it back from my parents a year ago and my dad stopped using it as a dd 4 years ago cause of this problem. It was still dd by my mom but only 2 miles up the road. It won't do it all the time but lately its eveytime I drive it. Only ever misses at an idle. I've also done everything you said with replacing parts, tests and seafoam. Im thinking its something with the valves.
I'll give the water a try and see what it'll do for me. My motor is junk tho, no oil pressure, uses antifreeze, 0331 head but no antifreeze in the oil, I believe I have a blown head gasket(there's oil and antifreeze all down the side), leaking valve cover, and this po301.

trouble shooting the same problem. cylinder 1 misfire, has a rough idle. nothing bad but you can feel it when sitting in the jeep and hear it through the exhaust. can not hear or feel misfire at higher rpms
good compression when i ran compression test, replaced distributor, wires, and plugs. swapped fuel rails with a friend, replaced intake gasket and still getting the code back up.
with good compression and no bleed off at all would you still think it might be a valve? thinking about going and trying to pour water down intake (steam clean) like mentioned before cause i have seen multiple people on different forums mention that... im kinda at a lose and was hoping that is was really just simple but i have yet to run it down.

Yup. That's is what I have been reading on another forum. Everyone on there is saying to change the valve springs. Thanks for the advice and I will update on my progress when I swap the springs in the next couple days when I have time.

Update: just got done replacing the valve springs and it seems to running a lot better. Can't feel the misfire like I could before. Just pulled the battery cable to reset the engine code. Will update tomorrow if the cel comes back.
