Reviving my own thread for a bit here

Got the head put on runs so much better still had a random miss at idle but I could live with it. Today after a rougher than normal idle I get a check engine light and codes p0300 and p0304 Crap. So here's where I stand

New head gasket
Fresh head from trusted machine shop
New distributor
New cam sensor
New cap
New rotor
New wires
New plugs
New MAP
new IAT
new TPS
(Map and tps were to address hesitation issue cleared it right up)

I have noticed that even with the cat being hollowed out I get no o2 codes. How much attention does the computer give the o2s? I'll probably throw a coil on it since it's relatively cheap and I'm running out of options. I'll also check vacuum tomorrow what is considered good?

Any input would be great it only misses at idle runs great anything off idle. Timing is set right but I might play with it a bit tomorrow. Any way to check timing with a light?

Thanks guys
