Default missing vacuum connections?

howdy mates,
new here and to the xj. 1985 2.5l carbed. i have at least 5 what appear to be vacuum lines not connected to anything..... including the one off the EGR. Having trouble finding a diagram that matches what i see under my hood. Any help much appreciated!

here are some pics this circled bit has 4 lines the 2 in the foreground with the dots go to no where.....

this red circle is a hard line plastic hose that goes back along firewall to driver side.
green circle is a random plug for?....
blue is the line from the heater core...that has a shut off valve for i have no idea why.

here is the carb for reference dont know it it is stock

I don't nor have I had a carbureted Jeep. I can tell you that my 88 and your 89 probably have the same closed cooling system. That simply being a closed system or a leaking heater core would explain the valve in the heater hose.

I like to use moparpartsoverstock.com to see factory diagrams and figure part numbers. Obviously, you can buy from them, too. I have a Chilton's and Haynes' manual, but I still use my local library's databases and sometime Mitchel Repair Guide Books for some things. Nickintimefilms on YouTube has a fuel injected 1988 which would have much crossover. He has many videos.

can anyone tell me if this is the stock carb by looking at the above picture? This weekend i will be pulling the top end to do the head gasket. going to replace as many hoses for the whole vacuum system as well. if this is the stock carb is there another one that may be better for me to get this weekend while im doing all this other work?

Since nobody more knowledgeable has gotten to you yet, then try to find a part number on the carburetor and figure whether that is an aftermarket or factory part number.

Didnt get a part number of the carb yet and still have to redo a bunch of the vacuum lines. Did decide to pull the head and replace the gasket first as it had all the tell tell signs. Boy was i right. Looked like a burnt worn out piece of bare flat metal. The head doesnt seem to be warped and there doesnt seem to be any crack either. Head is going in today to get checked out and cleaned up. So once that is done i will get back to the fuel and air issues. It is the stock YFA carb I have found out but thats about it. Cant believe the jeep even ran let alone as well as it did-although not great.
