Thats what i was just thinking.. If its anything like regular oil then it probably wouldnt work, I know they say that synthetic creates a barrier around everything it touches, and that regular oil and synthetic mix like oil and water.. but now that i think about it im sure they make it in the synthetic flavor.. My only concern is would the stp provide enough thickness to equal out to close to that of 5w-30?

I kind of like my jug idea. Fill a nice clean jug with it. Put your desired oil in the Jeep. (then you know you are OK there)
After a month or so for sure anything evil enough to harm the Honda will have sank. Just don't pour the bottom of that into the Honda. You don't want the Honda catching anything from the Jeep, or "growing a set" or something.
That way almost nothing is wasted, no babies were killed....
Or...I wouldn't put more than two pints of STP in it, but Idk.
If you wanted to really nerd out on it, viscosity you can check. I guess with a timer and something with a hole for it to drain. I thought of doing it myself to compare the 30W Castrol I use to some of these other concoptions people are using.

add mobil1 15-50 till it's full. syn has better film strength than dino oil as it is, touch thin isn't going to start causing ring and guide wear from one oil change. if you really wanted to 8-16oz of lucas oil stabilizer would add even more film strength

Wouldn't the oil dust layer out in the pan? Our oil delivery Guy at work put 10w30 into our 5w30 tank. And the company made a big deal about it.

There is some serious oil mixing/stirring going on inside the motor....the oil pump pick-up is in the very bottom of the pan. Not like it's just sitting in a barrel.
