Joe.

A friend of mine owns a shop. He is ready to retire and has yet to build himself a Jeep. He even has his own wrecking yard. Every time he starts, he just can't resist selling cool parts to make a buck.

He and I also have AMC MIghty Mites. We are having a race to see who can take the longest to get one running. So far it is a tie.

hey threads like this are good. If everyone in history agreed then we would never have conflicting answers to question which causes other foundations for other ideas and technologies. Imaging if all the cavemen at Geico agreed that wheels should be square

you don't know Mac. He hasn't bought a new car or truck since I have known him, about 35 years now. He'll put something together from scrap or he won't do it.

I looked at them when you first posted. I would question running them long term, but maybe they are OK. I would like to talk to some people who run them. In the US, you can't run them year round, only for about six months of the year. Also there is lots of pressure from the highway dept. to eliminate studs altogether. These look like they might be removable, which is a plus.
