More wiring nightmares

Ok, so I am going to correct myself... The module (relay) that you are looking at is actually the headlight delay module. The headlights do not appear to use a relay system. That module is for when your headlights and you turn the truck off, and then turn the switch to lights off. It allows the headlights to stay on for a few seconds.
At least that is what the electrical diagrams state (and i know from my jeep that this is the case)
So, technically (if everything is wired correctly) you don't need that switch because it runs separately from the head light switch
It may be that the delay module is broken causing things to short circuit or maybe that the headlights are wired incorrectly
Like your original post stated: wiring nightmare
I have ALOT of that going on with my jeep but luckily if I can't fix it, I have 4 people that i work with that are also experienced electrical techs

Ok, Im just getting over the flu so Im sick as hell still but I hobbled myself outside and rewired that whole plug, New ground, jumper wire gone and rewired into harness, duct tape gone and all 4 connections redone with butt connectors and shrink tubing. Trying both modules I have I have no lights still, Next step headlight switch? I ordered one in at work, Gonna go get it tomorrow. Any other suggestions on why all the lights would go?

Anyway to bypass it, just to see, I dont have a test light here, Any fusable links or anything else that could just pop all of a sudden while driving and loose everything.
According to the wiring diagram there is a fusable link on the hot wire coming into the headlight switch. I cant seem to find it, I did notice the plug going into the headlight switch has been replaced, as there is butt connectors on all the wires except the main thick hot wire

I would think it is that the headlight switch is not geting power - i can't see it being anything else (as NO lights are working)
Sorry I haven't been more active with the electrical issue but it is flooding right now (why do people live in North Dakota!!) - by the way, if anyone wants to come help with sandbagging-I am sure I could find room at my mother-in-laws house
