i like the magnaflow, but realisticly, its a lot of money. im gonna go with an entire new set up. new exhaust manifold, header. new downpipe. new cat and new muffler, and its all gonna be the cheapest stuff i can find. may even do a write up on it.

its all a personal noise choice...the superturbo cat-back is like 120 bucks or so and is a bit louder than stock. Flowmaster is pretty loud.

Flowmaster FTW!! I've used mine as a skidplate/slider and it still works/sounds great. Wanna hear it?

It is personal preference really. But there are other mufflers out there. Overall, most of my vehicles have had Magnaflow or Bullet performance mufflers. Both pretty much identical. THe dynomax UltraFlo's have the same straight-thru design as those. At this point, especially with a Jeep, I would say just pick up a new high flow cat, and run straight pipe as far back as you want after that.

At first I installed the Magnaflow because the dealer said it came with a life time warenty. After four years I got fed up with the lack of rumble and installed a Flow Master 40 original. By far a better muffler. I would sign my last name on the FlowMaster 40 muffler. I love it when you pull up to a Prius with there dirivers window down and sound bomb em. Show the driver what a good engine sounds like.

It depends on the sound that you are looking at getting out of your engine. Now the Magna flow has a direct flow design yet it has that insalation around the straight tube. The insalation guiets down the exhaust note. The flow master uses baffles which gives it that great sound. Flowmaster all the way.

I had flowmasters on the mustang and even with no tailpipes it wasnt loud enough for me. So i replaced them with Spintech Pro-Streets...they are a bit harder to find but are WAY louder than flows even with tailpipes and have a unique tone!!!!
