I have a 97 Cherokee, 2 Dr Sport, 2WD. Had an issue with the Electric Aux fan not working so I started checking Fuses, Relays, Etc. Found that the 40Amp Fuse under the hood for the fan was blown, so I went and picked up a new fuse and a new relay just in case. After I got home and replaced them the Jeep wound not start. I started right up this morning. The engine turns and turns but it acts like it suddenly has no fuel. Thinking that I somehow messed up the fuse to the fuel pump (#19 under the hood) I pulled it to check it. When I did the Aux fan came on. putting it back in cut the fan off. Now Im totally stumped. It went from running to now not firing over at all. Every fuse I have pulled has been intact. I replaced the relay for the fan also but cant figure out why now the engine wont fire over. Any help would be most appreciated.

Update!!!!! By using this Fantastic Forum I went looking inside the underhood fuse box. I found that a pin had fallen and was not making contact with the Relay. After reconnecting it, the Jeep fired right up! And the Aux fan is working again also! Many Many Thanks to this group!
