My wipers and sprayer quit working
So I have a 1992 Jeep cherokee and about a year ago it was stolen and when I recovered it, the left side of the column was cracked. So everything was fine untill about a month ago. when I would Turn the wipers on it would spark on the left side of the column. But they would turn on about 3 minutes later. Then they sparked again about 2 weeks ago and now they wont turn on at all. I think it could be the wiper circuit breaker? Any thoughts would help. Thanks.

sounds like your best bet is to hit pick n pull and grab another column, lol.

I put a new wiper switch in mine and it helped. I have a short somewhere from the switch harness, to the wiper harness. Search column rebuild or something like that and there is good pics of a tear down and rebuild. You dont have to completely tear it down but the write up is good. My switch was cheapest at morris 4x4 but other guys should be the same. qtech has really done me really good lately on parts. My switch was 75 I believe and i tightened my column in the mean time. Better than a JY one with no prior knowledge of water damage...
